Description
View of the interior of the theatre looking towards the scanae frons. Note the pit is uncovered, clear walls around the door and that the summa cavea and crypta wall architrave appear to be entact and in place.
Chapter 6 notes the ambiguity pre excavation visability, the fact that the crypta was restored. Further "Dans la partie de l'édifice qui communique au Forum triangulaire" were found some fragments of marble statues, a large quantity of charred wood, pieces of drapery belonging to bronze statues, a large number of tiles and inscriptions almost all crude.
