Areas of Interest

The whole of insular VIII.7 is of interest as it is the environment within which the large theatre sits more specifically though the map below shows the particular areas of research I am conducting.

1) The red area. This is the scaenae frons of rear wall of the theatre on which the marble veneers would have hung.
2) The green area. This is the theatre proper which is being visualised in 3D based on the data recorded from site.
3) The blue area. This contains everything directly involved with the large theatre, access and secondary spaces.
4) The magenta area. The small theatre which has already been recorded and modelled mostly by Martin Blazeby from the 2007/8 campaigns.
